The police officer told Donna they couldn’t take action against her husband because there wasn’t any concrete evidence proving he was behind it all or connected to any of the incidents. Donna sighed as she realized he was right, but she couldn’t just accept this. She wouldn’t let fear control her life. So, Donna left the police station feeling more determined to solve the problem on her own.
