The sidewalk in front of her was empty. She could go as fast as possible and saw the city square in the distance. Donna’s heart leaped as she noticed it was filled with people, but then she felt a sudden tug. Her wheelchair halted in place, and looking around, she stared into Blake’s pale face. “Wait, please, I need to tell you something!” he pleaded, sounding out of breath.
