When Judith called the doctor, he answered almost immediately, which was unusual, to say the least. Dr. Matthews spoke hastily and fumbled most of his words while talking, so much so that Judith needed to calm him down before continuing the conversation. “I’m sorry, but it’s hard to follow you, sir. Is there something wrong?” Dr. Matthews apologized and promised to calm down a bit. But there indeed was something wrong.
