Freaking herself out
When Judith saw that sign, she pushed the gas pedal deeper. She knew she was speeding, but hardly anyone was on the road, and she could take the tension much longer. Her speculation continued, even though she knew nothing good could come from it. “The doctor informed me that both of the girls were perfectly healthy. But what if they weren’t?
