Becky’s heart skipped a beat, and not in a good way because she suddenly looked into the eyes of the strange man again. He didn’t leave but had made his way up to her apartment somehow. Becky stood frozen in place and did not know how to react. She debated whether to scream from the top of her lungs or slam the door as fast as she could. Fear overtook her.
