Describing the old man
The old man lay in a worn-down hospital bed; Becky recognized it from her earlier years in intensive care. She estimated that he was around 70 years old, but he appeared much older at first glance. The man was pale like a corpse and was shaking immensely. It was a sad sight, even for a nurse who saw many sick people daily. “Who is this lovely girl, David?” The old man asked.
