Because the treatment was a great success, David’s father only needed one surgery to provide the initial boost toward his recovery and, afterward, a medicine trial of at least six months. David’s father was allowed to go home the very same day, and Becky was already waiting for him when he got there. She promised to provide daily care during his recovery period. And so a beautiful time together commenced.
