Mateo put the camera’s viewfinder back on his eye and searched the area for the brown object in the water. It didn’t take him long to find it, but he noticed something else when he focused. The object was moving around. The movements seemed just minor above water, but it became clear to Mateo that something more was going on beneath the surface because the entire fishing boat was rocking because of it.
