Officer Baxter stated that the recording was made on January 12th, which was eight days before Jessie’s grandmother eventually died. The old lady hoped this was enough evidence to incriminate her brother. She would let her best friend drop off the box at Jessie’s doorstep. And she hoped that Jessie would figure out the rest.
