Weird reaction
Something about the stuffed animal seemed familiar in a way, sparking a vague, distant memory within Kate’s mind. It was like an old mental box was opened just a smidge, and past memories came oozing out. She couldn’t quite place where it came from but could feel her body reacting strongly to it. For some strange reason, it even made Kate tear up a bit. “What is going on here?” Kate spoke to herself while trying to regain composure.
