Bruno growing old
Bruno’s health began to show signs of age, and the sisters grew more attentive to his needs. They spoiled him with treats, soft blankets, and endless affection. “He deserves everything,” Kate said as she scratched his ears. June agreed, her eyes misting. “He’s given us so much more than we could ever repay.” Bruno, content and loved, seemed to understand his place in their lives, his wagging tail a constant reassurance.
