The phone operator was intrigued and surprised by Stuart’s call for help and immediately agreed this situation needed to be investigated. He would send the three nearest officers to Stuart’s location. “They will arrive shortly.” The sewage worker hurried back to meet them, happy the police took this situation as seriously as he was.
