Acting weird
The car was large, as most pickup trucks were, but it drove more like a tank than an actual car. The steering felt stiff, and the vehicle seemed to resist acceleration. It felt extremely heavy, and Mark noticed that it had great difficulty getting up even the most shallow hills, much more than a vehicle of its size should. Whenever Mark drove downhill, it was like something strong was pushing the vehicle, adding to his confusion.
