Panda Escapes Zoo Enclosure, Then Staff See Where She’s Trying To Go

Facing the forest

The panda’s enclosure was at the far end of the zoo. At the front side, it faced a pathway where visitors could watch her. But at the back, it bordered the open forest behind the zoo. There was a glass wall there so that the greenery of the forest appeared to flow into the enclosure.
