Not being taken seriously
When I called the police and explained the situation, I expected shocked voices. But instead, I got the opposite. They didn’t take me seriously at all. According to them, this wasn’t a case they fussed about. Nothing was stolen, and a silly bracelet that I couldn’t take off wasn’t enough to send a patrol car.
