For a moment, none of them moved, their ears straining to hear any sign of the car returning. “Do you think they saw us?” Joshua whispered, his voice barely audible. Derek shook his head. “I don’t think so. But we can’t stay here long.” Maddy exhaled shakily, gripping the steering wheel tightly. “What do we do now? They’ll just keep following us,” she said. Derek stared at the USB drive in his hand. “We need help.”
