As Carl examined the control panel, he noticed a small compartment slightly open. Inside were a wrench, a screwdriver, and a coil of insulated wire, surprisingly well-preserved. He pocketed the screwdriver, figuring it might be useful later. He had no idea that in just a minute, he’d be forced to use it as a weapon.
