Locking herself inside
After the officers left Julia’s home, she quickly ran past all windows and doors. She locked them and checked everything for a second time. It was a desperate attempt to make herself feel safe, even though convincing herself of this point was hard. Julia sat on the couch, trying to calm herself down.
