Starting the dog walk
Wendy lived close to the edge of town, where there were plenty of quiet walking trails, but for her dog walk, she always used the same one. It was still dark outside, and nobody shared the street with her. So Wendy simply put one foot in front of the other and enjoyed the silence. That was until they passed a bridge about ten minutes into their walk.
