Large pieces of rock and clumps of crumbled-down sandy hills lay everywhere. Even some pieces of the actual bridge structure had broken off. “This must have been because of the earthquake. It simply smashed the sandy hill to bits, ” Wendy said out loud. But that was just the beginning of this bizarre journey; it was about to get a lot crazier.
