Carl took a deep breath as he looked into the dark mouth of the tunnel. “Alright, we’re going in,” he said, a hint of both caution and excitement in his voice. He signaled for the team to grab their flashlights. And even though they were a bit more hesitant than he was, one by one, they all obliged and followed Carl into the dark unknown below.
