Fear instantly grew within the group. It was the cry, the nervousness of the unknown, and the fear that the tunnel might collapse at any moment, trapping the team down there. Carl glanced back, seeing the terrified faces of his crew. “It’s okay; we’re together,” he tried to reassure them, but his voice betrayed a slight tremble. The tunnel suddenly felt more cramped, which didn’t sit well with the crew.
