In the middle of the cockpit was a small metal box. It was rusted over, just like most of the plane. But when the two men opened it, they found something still completely intact. Rick and Marc stared at a sealed plastic bag, and inside it was a recorder. The two men immediately knew this finding was significant, so they informed their commander about it.
