Rick and Marc signed that they made it down fine and also conversed this message through the walkie-talkie they held. They were asked to stay in constant contact so that findings could be communicated directly. It was also an extra safety measure for when they needed help. After all that was settled, the two men walked across the wing to the main body of the plane.
