The search begins
The next morning, after a night of restless sleep, Tim and Mary decided to start their search for answers at the thrift shop where Tim had bought the footstool. As soon as they walked in, the familiar scent of old books and wooden furniture greeted them. They were met by the shop’s manager, a friendly woman who had always been fond of Tim’s frequent visits.
