The next day, they drove to the address given on the phone. As they approached Evergreen Drive, the landscape changed—small suburban houses were replaced by grand estates. The number 45 turned out to be a large, imposing mansion. They parked in the circular driveway and exchanged nervous glances. This was nothing like they had expected.
