Aligning the stool
The footstool was placed in its new permanent home and then forgotten about for the rest of the afternoon. It sat in his living room, waiting for that planned reading session later in the evening. But when that moment arrived, something halted Tim’s actions. He lifted the stool upward to align it with the chair when he suddenly noticed that the piece of furniture was weirdly heavy.
