Warm blankets
The rescued crew members were brought on board the coastguard vessel, shivering and visibly shaken but safe. As each of them stepped off the ladder, officers greeted them, wrapping them in warm blankets and offering comforting words. Carla stood to the side, her heart still racing. She had listened to every moment of their rescue, but now, seeing the relief on their faces made it all feel real.
