The journey back to the harbor felt much faster than the ride out to the ship. Once they arrived, ambulances were waiting to take the crew members to the hospital for check-ups. Carla watched as Benjamin and the others were helped into the vehicles, grateful to get the care they needed. She wanted to stay to ensure everything went smoothly, but an officer assured her they had everything under control.
