The following days were a whirlwind of activity. News spread quickly about the rescue, and Carla was contacted by reporters who wanted to hear her side of the story. But the real relief came when she received a call from Benjamin, letting her know that he and the crew were recovering well in the hospital. They had been exhausted and dehydrated but otherwise fine.
