Calling in sick
To keep her from worrying, Jack chose not to tell his wife about the tracker when she got home from work. He was going to solve this on his own, but to do so, he needed time. So the next morning, Jack decided to call in sick. He knew he couldn’t focus on work with everything else on his mind, so he took the day off to figure things out.
