Jack thanked the man for his help and took the device and the written-down number home. Jack was on his own again, but he wasn’t going to give up. He was determined to get to the bottom of this. Jack’s search took him to various places: he searched tech forums online, called phone service providers, and even a few private investigators were contacted.
