Scaring it off
John steeled himself, his heart pounding as he stared into the moose’s dark, unblinking eyes. With a firm shout, he tried the same tactic as last night: shoo the animal away again. “Get out! Go on, get!” His voice echoed down the quiet street, and the moose backed up slowly, huffing. As it trotted off, John shook his head in disbelief, hoping this time would be the last.
