The family first noticed the moose around their house on a Friday night. Rose had just checked on the children, which she did every night before going to bed herself. She was upstairs putting on her pajamas while her husband, John, sat in the living room reading a book. It was quiet downstairs, something he liked. But then suddenly, he heard a strange rumble in their backyard.
