So the moment John released his family from their upstairs confinement was also the cue for the moose to reappear. And it had a very good reason for popping up every time: for not letting John and his family go. It wanted their attention because it desperately needed them. When John, Maria, and the kids walked down the stairs, the moose’s watery eyes were already staring at them.
