Mother and daughter
The animal was its mother, and she clearly realized she could not help her calf escape this helpless situation. Apparently, it also figured that a human touch was needed to free her little one, so it stalked a civilian’s home until that person would assist her. The house of John’s family was simply the lucky family she picked. John let out a deep sigh.
