A large building
Finally, Kate reached her destination, although it did not provide much comfort. It was a large building looming in the middle of the street. Its gray, worn exterior stood out, even in this neighborhood. Some windows were broken, others patched up with boards. Voices were heard from inside, a low, continuous murmur that made her nervous. Kate couldn’t see who was speaking but heard that many people were present inside.
