As they arrived at the nursing home, Megan, Robert, and her neighbor felt nervous and curious. The nurse, Louise, led them down a quiet hallway lined with family photos, colorful artwork, and flowers. Louise stopped in front of a modest room at the end of the hall. “She’s been looking forward to meeting you,” Louise said, smiling softly at Megan.
