Ear-deafening
When suddenly, a loud whining sound arose from deep within the mountain. It was high-pitched and almost ear-deafening. “That was absolutely not the wind,” Brody said as he felt the hairs of his arm stand up straight. The sound shot fear into the hearts of these men, and you might think these two men would have shot out of that tunnel within seconds, but you would be wrong if you did.
