The tunnel mouth widened and opened up in a second space, even larger than the one with the coal oven. Lights hung all around here, and the smell of cured meat filled the air. There was a makeshift couch in the corner and some blankets stacked on each other to form a bed. It was clear that this was Bob’s living quarter. A sad sight to behold, since it was so isolated deep within the mountain.
