But that was not all that stood out in this scene. The pile of gold was impressive, but when Brody’s gaze fell back on the old men, he also noticed something else. Even though Bob reacted proudly regarding his accomplishments, Brody also noticed a tired look in Bob’s eyes, as if the weight of all that gold had worn him down instead of lifting him up.
