When Lars could see again, he saw his car parked just ahead, exactly where he’d left it. One of the guards handed him his belongings, which they confiscated back at the facility, and nodded curtly. “Drive safe.” Lars climbed into his car, still processing the day’s events. As he drove home, Lars replayed everything in his mind.
