Onto the kitchen
The kitchen was next. It had been long since it had seen love, judging by the grimy countertops and peeling linoleum tiles. Kim started with the floor, hoping the work wouldn’t be too hard. “Old tiles are usually stubborn,” she muttered, gripping her crowbar tightly. To Kim’s surprise, the first tiles popped up easily.
