A low, guttural growl rumbled through the room. Colin’s heart pounded for a moment before he spotted the source. A large gasoline-powered generator sat in the corner, shaking slightly as it roared to life. “Ahh, that’s where that sound came from,” he muttered under his breath, exhaling in relief.
