Once he made it safely to the ground, he let out a relieved breath and walked over to his garden table. He placed the strange, oversized lump on the surface and sat down, staring at it like it might move again. Turning it over in his hands, he noticed there were odd indentations scattered across its rough, bark-like exterior—some deep, others shallow. They almost looked like claw marks. That thought alone gave him chills.
