John answered with a breathless voice. “This better be good, Mark.” Mark’s tone was urgent. “John, you need to listen. I just heard from a friend in the group—a biologist. He recognized the structure in your attic.” John froze. “Okay. Tell me.” Mark hesitated, then said: “That wasn’t built by hornets. It was made by a bear.” Silence followed.
