From what he could now see, the creature’s body stretched even farther under the surface. It curved inward, then looped back. Maybe a tail? A coil? Liam wasn’t sure. It didn’t resemble anything he’d seen before. It was like someone had mashed together a salamander and a submarine. He’d gone from casual fishing trip to full-on mystery rescue mission.
