Lucky, but not out of trouble
The men were large and bulky in stature and made repeated trips up and downward, carrying dozens of large packages each to the surface. The process took about 30 minutes, and Brendan and John were lucky not to be discovered. But that did not mean the two coastal guards were out of trouble.
