Reaching the window proved to be more difficult than Carl anticipated. His gloves, designed for warmth rather than grip, made it nearly impossible to pull himself upward. To make matters worse, he heard the ominous rumble of another avalanche building in the distance. Time was running out. “I need to be inside before it hits,” Carl muttered urgently, determined to find a way into the safety of the ship.
