Tools to the left
Carl couldn’t help but wonder what the ship’s crew had been monitoring all those years ago. Carl noticed a small compartment partially ajar to the left of the panel. Inside, he found more tools: a wrench, a screwdriver, and a coil of insulated wire, which looked surprisingly mint in its condition. He pocketed the screwdriver, figuring it might come in handy later, not knowing he would use it as a weapon in just a minute.
